Bagging Up Day Saturday 10/01/2026:
Our supply of split logs has now been exhausted (one left) so there is an urgent need to bag up some more and we will be meeting at 10.00 a.m. at the entrance in Woodland Way to replenish stocks.

Work Day Sunday 11/01/2026:
We will again be meeting at 10.00 a.m. at the new coppicing area to continue with the felling and clearing etc. work to prepare the site ready for planting. We will also be continuing with the construction of the dead hedge. Entering the wood via the Woodland Way entrance, the site is located on the left hand side of the top path where the path meets Sherwood Glade/the start of Sherwood Oaks Field.
As usual FoF will be providing all the necessary tools for the above tasks but please would you bring your own gloves and tools (shears and loppers) if you have them. Please would you also bring your own wipes and hand gel as well as your own refreshments. Please also remember to wear long trousers/jeans to avoid getting bitten by ticks but FoF’s First Aid kit does contain tick removers if needed.
