To install a Picnic Table and Bench along the bottom path as a viewing point for the Ancient Beech Tree.
To install a new bench along the top path at the top of the Juniper Glade to replace the one which had rotted.
To split some of the smaller felled Ash logs located down the path leading to Northwood Avenue and move them to the Firewood Bagging Area for stacking on pallets under tarpaulins.
Brushcut an area along the top path close to the Firewood Bagging Area where more split logs can be stacked to dry out pending conversion into firewood.
As usual FoF will be providing all the necessary tools for the above tasks but please would you bring your own gloves and tools (shears and loppers) if you have them. Please would you also bring your own wipes and hand gel as well as your own refreshments. Please also remember to wear long trousers/jeans to avoid getting bitten by ticks but FoF’s First Aid kit does contain tick removers if needed.
